NY Pizza Suprema is a NYC institution, and the pizza here is simply delicious, which is why I am rating it so highly. Compared to other spots in NYC though, the line/wait is quite long and costs a few $ more per slice. That being said, I only come to NY Pizza Suprema if I'm not caring about time or money that day, but also feeling okay to shell out all that effort to just eat a slice out on the sidewalk since it can be tough to get a seat. Overall, when planning to come to NY Pizza Suprema, I'd consider it a casual/no-frills spot that is quite pricy. If you're looking for just a quick & tasty slice, some others around the area may be a more optimal choice to be honest, especially in terms of effort.

This place can be quite busy, but the line moves pretty quickly. They have a wide variety of different slices. They are all solid. Great place.

Really pleasantly surprised! I've walked by this place many times and never given them a second glance cause they have a pretty unassuming exterior. Didn't realize that it was a NY institution and that it's been around forever. Super glad my friend dragged me here! We all got a slice of the upside down slice, and it was great. Crispy bottom with enough thickness to hold everything together. The sauce really hits you because it's on top, with a nice cheesy bite underneath. Overall, quite a good slice. Service is also really fast, so you can easily grab a slice and go! I will definitely be back!

The definition of a New York pizza slice place. The only difference is they have ample seating. A guy behind the counter yells at you for your order while you stand in line with the pizzas on display in front of you. The slices are some of the most expensive I've seen at $6-$7.50. The chicken parm slice ($6) was very good with minimal grease and flop, a light crisp, moderate weight, and decent flavor. The crust was thin but thick enough to be firm and substantial. Flavor was the only area of improvement. 8/10 pizza.

Got the Diavolo and white garlic sooooo good. Place is across the street from Penn station and was perfectly located with a little line but it moves quick. We dragged our luggage in and sat down. For such a hot day the A/C was a relief. Gastro Maestro approved!!!!!!

Legit one of my favorite slices in NYC I had the margarita pizza and found a seat in this small spaced restaurant. I just wish it was closer to where I lived!

NY Pizza Suprema was a spur of the moment lunch stop. The place was packed and was loud, vibrant, and cheerful. The pizza was HUGE- pictures with my mom and sister for reference. We bought a few different slices and it was nice to try a bit of everything. They toasted our slices in the pizza oven so they were crispy, warm, and cheesy. Such a fun place to stop!

Like many folks before me I stopped here after arriving in the city via train & before heading to my destination. I had a slice of the fig & prosciutto after asking the staff which it get when I had narrowed it down to the bbq chicken or fig & prosciutto. I meant to take a picture first but grabbed one bite first. I was a very good piece of pizza, I would definitely plan to stop here again when arriving (or leaving) the city during their open hours.

I was amazed to find such great pizza right by Penn Station! I was really just looking for a quick slice and had no expectations that this was going to be such good pizza. It's a pretty quick spot, with your usual counter service, but they do have some tables as well. In this case, I was in a bit of a rush, so I just took my slice to know. If you're a fan of pepperoni, you should go for it! They throw a ton of meat onto the slice and the pepperoni curls up in just the right way. I'm usually more of a triangle over a square slice fan, but in this case, the square hit the spot. Highly recommend for pizza fans!

AMAZING - some real authentic new york pizza! the pizza was absolutely delicious and not too heavy. I think that the hot honey slice could have definitely used hot honey on it (it didn't have any) but was superb regardless. for being a new york pizza spot (you really never know what you're going to get lol), the vibes here are immaculate. it really has that retro feel and you can tell that they really care about their food and the presentation of the place. service was quick and accurate. definitely come here if you can!
